3. User Obligations

3.1 For Job Seekers

• Provide accurate and complete information about qualifications and experience
• Maintain up-to-date contact information
• Respond promptly to communications from our recruitment team
• Undergo required background checks and provide necessary documentation
• Notify us immediately of any changes in circumstances that may affect eligibility

3.2 For Schools and Employers

• Provide accurate information about vacancies and requirements
• Comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations
• Conduct appropriate background checks on successful candidates
• Respect candidate privacy and data protection rights
• Settle fees and charges in accordance with agreed terms

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Recruitment Fees

Schools and educational institutions using our recruitment services agree to pay the fees specified in our current fee schedule or as agreed in individual contracts. Fees are typically charged as a percentage of the successful candidate's annual salary.

4.2 Payment Terms

• Invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt
• Late payment may result in suspension of services
• All fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable
• Disputes must be raised within 7 days of invoice receipt

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Luma Education Recruitment or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding candidate information and employer requirements. Both parties agree to protect confidential information shared during the recruitment process and use it solely for legitimate recruitment purposes.

7. Data Protection

We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

Luma Education Recruitment's liability is limited to the fees paid for our services in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, business, or reputation.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. Outstanding fees and obligations will remain enforceable. Upon termination, we will cease providing services but retain records as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation before resorting to legal action.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or website notification. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of amended terms.
